HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA!!!

Getting excited about the 4th of July? Well, you should be!!! Especially if you are planning to spend the holiday along the Grand Strand! NORTH MYRTLE BEACH:
Cherry Grove Pier Fireworks Display @ 9pm--one of the biggest and best along the Grand Strand!
Barefoot Landing Fireworks Display @ 10:15-- also will feature Kids Karoke, the Stilt Man, clowns, face painters, and balloon artists located throughout the complex from 7-11pm. What's more, the fun continues with a Euro Bungee, Rock Wall, Mechanical Bull, Carousel, and much more! (located in the Lakeview Courtyard)
MYRTLE BEACH:
Market Common- -Saturday July 3, 2010 - Sunday July, 4 2010-- Beginning @ 11am come enjoy the Italian Festival and Independence Day celebration. Celebrate Independence Day with Italian food, live music, and crafts. Fireworks display will begin @ 9pm on July 4th.
Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach-- Featuring a fair like atmosphere with loads of family fun. Enjoy fireworks with family and friends both July 3 and July 4th starting @ 8pm.
Myrlte Beach Pelicans-- home game on July 4, 2010 with a fireworks display following the game.
Second Avenue Pier in Myrlte Beach-- fireworks display starting @ 9:30pm.
SURFSIDE BEACH:
Surfside Beach will be having entertainment starting @ 6pm in the pier parking lot. Concessions available include hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks. FREE ice cream and watermelon (while they last) and FREE giveaways with the fireworks beginning @ 9:15pm.
MURRELLS INLET:
You cannot miss the Murrells Inlet Boat Parade! This year the parade starts @ 1pm. Come enjoy all the decorated boats as they cruise through the creek! Get out early as the boat parade attracts a large crowd each year!
Murrells Inlet Fireworks Display-- Murrells Inlet also has one of the larger firework shows along the Grand Strand that will start this year @ 10pm. Grab a spot along the wonderful Murrells Inlet Marshwalk to take in the astounding display!

Having opened in 2008, Longbeards is a relatively new addition to Myrtle Beach, but it has quickly become a favorite. Longbeards was recently honored by being named as one of the Grand Strand’s Top 100 Restaurants. The atmosphere is outdoorsy and rustic with lots of pretty woodwork and the walls are adorned with hunting trophies. Longbeards is a great place to take your family for a nice, casual meal. The food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. There is also a fabulous patio outside where you can sit and have a cocktail, enjoy live music, or play corn hole.
