Myrtle Beach NOW's sports and sporting event guide

Myrtle Beach, SC, might be known as the Golf Capital of the South, but it is also home to many more sporting teams, events, and venues then just golf.

Coastal Carolina University has a wide variety of collegiate sports teams, including football, baseball, soccer, and ice hockey (coming soon).

The Cal Ripken Experience Myrtle Beach provides for youth baseball tournaments in Myrtle Beach and Aberdeen on 14 uniquely designed baseball fields.

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Carolina League Class "A" baseball team (affiliate of the Atlanta Braves), can be found at their state-of-the-art home field (BB&T Field formerly known as Coastal Federal Field) in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

Horry-Georgetown Soccer Club, with locations throughout Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand, is actively involved in the Strand Regional Youth Soccer League.
