Walk for the Cause: Food Allergy Walk

If you're in town and looking for something fun to do, the take a walk for a very special cause.

The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network is dedicated to "To raise public awareness, to provide advocacy and education, and to advance research on behalf of all those affected by food allergies and anaphylaxis," and hopes you'll join them in their effort.

This is not just a local effort as groups from around the nation have their very own FAAN Walk in hopes to raise money to help find a cure. The Myrtle Beach walk will be this Saturday at Broadway at the Beach, and it starts at 9:00 am.

For those who want to help, but don't want walk can still help out via donation in three different ways.

Food Allergy Walk

Time: Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m.; Walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

Location: Broadway on the Beach, 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Distance: 2 miles

Restrictions: No pets, glass bottles, bikes, roller skates, or skate boards. Baby strollers and wagons are welcomed.
