Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest

What started as a sixteen day festival in Munich, Germany hundreds of years of ago has grown and transformed into a one day blow out celebration known as Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest.

Kicking off at noon on Saturday October 3, and going until the last barrel tapped - or 11 pm whichever comes first - this is the celebration locals and visitors alike look forward to this time every year.

The fun and excitement will take place at Ocean Boulevard and it's jammed pack with all the fun you can handle.

With live concerts all day, you can't help but dance to the beat. Headlined by Edwin McCain, this year's Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest will also include performances by Madonna Nash, Josh Roberts and the Hinges, Hot Lava Monster, Craven Melon, Painted Man and Parmalee.

In addition to the live music, Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest
is filled with great things to do. And yes, there's more to Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest than beer. Come out enjoy the fun of authentic German food, arts and crafts, an alcohol-free kid's zone with inflatables, bratwurst eating contest, street performer and fireworks.

It's fun for the whole family and it only comes once a year. The whole Boulevard will be shut down in order to contain all the festivities, so come out and explore the excitement of Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest.
