Golf Goes HD in Myrtle Beach
Get ready to see golf in Myrtle Beach like you've never seen it before. In clear crisp HD. Links Illustrated is filming eight 30-minute televisions shows here on the Grand Strand and they are going to great heights to make it look good.
Using a joystick operated Sony HD camera via helicopter, the TV show is putting the finishing touches of area footage from ten different Myrtle Beach golf courses. Pine Lakes Country Club,Long Bay Club,Willbrook Plantation, King's North,Waterway Hills, Heather Glen, Caledonia, True Blue, Glen Dornoch, and Blackmoor are all a part of the show.
The TV show, Links Illustrated, will be partially highlighted by showing off these illustrious Myrtle Beach golf courses and partially instructional. Former PGA Tour pro, and current Director of Instruction at Champions Golf Academy at the Long Bay Club, Hugh Royer III gives instruction for three episodes.
The show can be seen on various stations, including Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. And they have also teamed up with Myrtle Beach National to show the series on the web.
