Christian music and BMX bike fest coming to Myrtle Beach

Ground Zero, a local non-profit organization will host the GZ Block Party on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. outside on the 500 block of 9th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.
The Block Party marks Ground Zero’s kick off to the 2009-2010 school year and is a family-friendly festival featuring the Outcast BMX Bike Team, rock artist Todd Agnew, the Gospel Music Association’s New Artist of the Year - Building 429 and pop/urban group Kimber Rising. The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine and is free to the public.
“We’re excited to bring the Outcast BMX Bike Team along with these truly gifted musicians - Todd Agnew, Building 429 and Kimber Rising as part of The Promise Remains Tour to Myrtle Beach. It’s going to be a great event for the entire family,” said Scott Payseur, the founder and president of Ground Zero.
The Outcast BMX Bike Exhibition has been described as “mind blowing.”
The show features some of the top professional and amateur BMX riders in the country.
Todd Agnew’s new release is set to hit stores this fall while Building 429 has another hit single with “Always.”
Kimber Rising is a new pop/urban group based in Nashville, TN and is currently working on their first recording.
Ground Zero was founded in 1998 by Scott Payseur with a mission to reach and disciple teenagers for Jesus Christ.
