So you're getting ready for a one day and done road trip to Myrtle Beach, very nice. Knowing that Myrtle Beach has a ton to offer you want to maximize your time, so here's a guide to 24-hrs in Myrtle Beach, SC.
10:30am - The Arrival After a short drive you arrive in MB ready to have some fun. The morning has a few hours left, so time to capitalize.
10:35am - The Game It wouldn't be a trip to Myrtle Beach without experiencing a few rounds of championship golf. Head out to your favorite course (Barefoot Resort Love, The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, Tidewaters Golf Club and Plantation, take your pick)
If you don't get down with the links, you can always test your skills on one of the many golf courses. Volcanoes, caves, water hazards and more await as you navigate through crazy obstacles.
1:00pm - MMM Lunch After working up a hearty appetite it's time to reward yourself from a game well played with a delicious meal. Checking out one of the local's favorite sandwich shops is a must, so head over to Dagwood's Deli. Everything there's delicious, but try The Famous Dagwood Burger. It's 12oz. of pure heaven.
2:15pm - Recovery by Shopping Nothing compliments a delicious meal like buying a present for yourself... and maybe for someone else, if you make the time to do so. With hundreds of shopping outlets, malls and boutiques Myrtle Beach is a shop-o-holic's paradise. Hit up The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing to find some unique souvenirs, gifts and other novelty items.
5:30pm - Captain My Captain Exhausted after a day full of golfing and shopping? Let's hope not, the day is not over yet. But it is time to refuel, so head over to Capt. George's Seafood Restaurant. Here you will find a buffet as long as the eye can see, and at the end of all that is a delicious dessert bar. Enjoy all the crab legs, chicken, ribs, she-crab soup, shrimp and about a hundred other items that you can handle.
7:00pm - It's Show Time Folks Next to golf, the second most popular Myrtle Beach highlight are the entertaining live shows. With a something for everybody appeal, these variety shows will not disappoint. Head over to The Alabama Theatre, Dixie Stampede, Legends in Concert, Comedy Cabana or House of Blues for a time you won't soon forget.
10:00pm - What a Day With the show over, too bad they could go another 30 minutes, it's time to head home. Grab your scorecard, bags of souvenirs and get ready for the trip home. Or head to Dunes Village, Litchfield Beach and Golf or North Beach Plantation for a good night's sleep and repeat the process all over again the next day.
Either way, you will have experience an amazing 24-hrs in Myrtle Beach.
